Funeral of Grant Hopkins.

The funeral of Grant Hapkins was held at the Christian church Saturday forenoon. It h aving been his special request that Elder N. H. Sheppard conduct the funeral, the latter was called home from St. Joseph County, where he was making a visit, and arrived just in time for the funeral. He was assisted by Rev. J. L. Brady. The attendance was large, considering the very cold weather. . The fire company attended in a body. The pall bearers were Ray Thompson, Wm. Parks, L. W. Henkle, Fred Cissel, B. K. Zimmerman and Vernice Cressler. The floral offerings were numerour and very fine. The fire company presented a large floral ladder, and the W. R ,C. and others various emblems and bouquets.
