Mrs. L. A. Sayers is on the sick list. Miss Onia Spriggs is the guest of Miss Bessie Curtain this week. There was no Christmas tree in this place but the M. E. Sunday school gave an entertainment in the morning. Mr. and Mrs. Hanley, of Kmrnan, spent Christmas in this place. The protracted meeting closed Monday night. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Robbins are visiting in Chicago. Mr. and Mrs. L. 11. Frame, Mrs. John Frame, Henry.Frafne and W. H. Tyler and wife attended the funeral of 11. F. Greves at Rose Lawn last Saturday. Still another wedding for our town, Miss Rilla Snickenberger and

Mr. Chas. Shade, of this place were married in Rensselaer last Saturday. Last Sunday being the 18th birthday of Elam Frame several of his young friends gathered in and ate oysters and spent the evening with him. His parents presented him a fine gold watch. Miss Sadie Fairchild was home from Hebron to spend Christmas. Ml*. James Gilbert south of town is sick with lung fever. The Junior League presented their Supt. Miss Minnie Hanaway with a bible for Christmas. Mr. Fred Fuller, of Shelby, was in, town Monday on business. Mrs. Lucy Granger and son Leon spent Monday in Hebron. Dr. and Mrs. Wells spent Christmas with Ran Halleck and wife.
