Pierson-Nelson.

A very enjoyable wedding service occurred Tuesday at high noon at the home of Uncle Caleb E. Pierson southeast of the city. Miss Bertha B. Pierson, youngest daughter of Caleb E. and Victoria Pierson was joined in holy wedlock to Mr. John Firth Nelson. Rev. H. M. Middleton, pastor oi Trinity M. E. church officiated. The brief but impressive ceremony of the Methodist church including the ring ceremony was used. After the wedding a bountiful dinner, “a feast of good things,” was enjoyed by the guests. A goodly number of visitors were present. They were—M. R. Pierson and wife of Oxford, 0., and their daughter Miss Laura, of Indianapolis; 11. L. Nelson, brother of the groom, from Chicago; H. C. Pierson, wife and two sons; Wtn. H. Wood, wife and sons, Ray, Aaron and Carl; Frank Wood and wife; J. F. McCord and sister; C. F. Sack and wife; C. W. Marquand and wife; Kate Collins and Mrs. M. E. Middleton. Mr. and Mrs. Nelson will live with the bride’s parents on the farm.
