The County Is Sued.

Mr. Weatherhogg, the Court House Architect Wants $1,312Jasper county also has got a law suit for a Christmas present. It was filedjhere, Saturday morning, by Hanley & Hunt, attorneys for Charles R. Weatherhogg, the supervising architect of the court house, for sums claimed to be still due him on his 5 per cent, architect’s commission. The amount claimed is $1,312.18. The bill for this was dismissed by the commissioners at their Septem ber term. Mr. Weatherhogg claims that under his contract he is entitled to his 5 per cent, on the cost of the clock and bell, on the heating and heat apparatus, on the frescoing, the electric light fixtures and on the Venetian window blinds. Also that there is something claimed to be due him on the original contract. The report that he is making a claim for commission on the filling of the yard, the sidewalks, etc., is erroneous. The contract especially provides that he shall have nothing on the outside work.
