Death of Mrs. Alonzo Shigley.

Mrs, Elizabeth Shigley, wife of Alonzo Shigley died Saturday, Dec. 17th, at 1 o’clock P. M., at their home in the east part of town. She had been sick several years, with consumption, and since last April confined to her bed much of the time, and wholly so since July. She was born in Waveland, Ind., Sept. 10th, 1857, and married Alonzo Shigley, April Ist, 1877. She was the mother of 9 children, only four of ,vhom are living, one girl and three boyjs. The family lived at Lee, White county, prior ta their coming to Rensselaer. Her age at death was 11 ’’Oar 0 , 3 Q The funeral was held at the residence. Monday forenoon, Rev. H. M. Middleton conducting the religious services. Interment was in Benson cemetery, in Milroy Tp.
