Back Tax Cases Dismissed.

Wednesday notices were filed in the county clerk’s office, by Prosecuting Attorney Chizum, dismissing three of the noted back tax cases begun here some time ago. The reason given by the prosecutor for dismissing the suits is that he finds, on investigation that “a case can not bo made.” The ruling of Judge Kent, of Frankfort, who heard motions in these cases some time ago, is really what caused their dismissal. He ruled that complaint must be made specific and state just what property was omitted from the tax list. The cases dismissed are these against M. L. Spitler, J. M. Wasson and Robert Parker. The three other cases were taken to Ronton county, on chonge of venae, and are still pending. They are against Win. B. Austin, E. L. Hollingsworth and G. K. Hollingsworth.
