The County Commissioners..

The county commissioners met in regular December session Monday afternoon. The term of John Martindale, commissioner from the second district, having expired, his duly elected suocessor, Simeon A. Dowell, appeared and took seat as a member of,the Board. The Board organized by reelecting Abraham Halleck as president of the Board. Monday a number of claims were considered and disposed of. Today was saloon license day. Licenses were granted, in the forenoon to Charles A. Gundy, of Fair Oaks, and George A. Striekfaden, of Rensselaer.
