Another Soldier Boy Dead.
Joseph A. Turner, of KankakeeTp., Buried Sunday. %t,Again it is our sad duty to record the death of another member of small band of youthful patriots, who enlisted for the Spanish war, from this county. Joseph A- Turner, a young man of about 24, was a member of Company I, of. the 161st, Ind. regiment, usually called the Monticello company. He was credited from Wheatfield, but his residence was in Kankakoo Tp., and he was the only son of Wm. Turner, an old resident of that townsnip. His death ocoured at Savannah, Ga., of measles, and after a long spelt of malarial fever- His body was brought home for burial, aud the funeral was held at Wheatfield, Sunday. Young Turner is described by a neighbor who has known him long, as the best young man in his neighborhood.
