Fees of County Officers.

The coming legislature will take up several questions that relate closely to public economy. Among them is the question of fees of county officers. A state officer has made the announcement that there is in the hands of county officers in Indiana more than $1,000,000 in fees that should be turned into the treasuries, and that this failure to comply with the fee and salary law is said to apply to nearly every county in the state.
