The evenings are long and in many country houses the reading matter that comes into ! it is not sufficient to use up all the 1 leisure hours The Normal class is another good thing to push just now. In either case we can spend the long evening in no better way than by taking such a course of reading.

Sec’t’y. 4Jh to get an annual offering from each school for county and state work. sth to arrange for two township conventions and attend the county convention annually This may be done without unreasonable expenditure of j time and labor as a worker for God ' and his Kinrrdom and it saves the j county officers a great amount of | unnecessary work.
