Shall we not have a meeting soon and lay our plans for the new year’s*\vork? • Now is a splendid good time Home Dept. Supts. to do your work especially if you are located in the country. The evenings are long and in many country houses the reading matter that comes into ! it is not sufficient to use up all the 1 leisure hours The Normal class is another good thing to push just now. In either case we can spend the long evening in no better way than by taking such a course of reading.

Township President do not neglect this work. There are five things expected of you. Ist tc help new schools when needed. 2nd to visit each schoul in the Township at least once a year' 3rd to get a fresh annual statistical report from each school and send it to the Co. Sec’t’y. 4Jh to get an annual offering from each school for county and state work. sth to arrange for two township conventions and attend the county convention annually This may be done without unreasonable expenditure of j time and labor as a worker for God ' and his Kinrrdom and it saves the j county officers a great amount of | unnecessary work. We have serj eral in Ibis Co. like the above but I we want more.
