Mrs. Cleaver, of Kankakee City, lms been visiting relatives and friends in this vicinity for a few days. One of Mr. Stewart’s children is reported quite sick with diphtheria. It is now inending and is out of danger. Mrs. Thos. Gilmore is very sick. Dr. Washburn officiates. G. M. Wilcox and It. A. Hopkins attended the funeral of H. W t Pdrter last Sunday. Miss Jessie Lang, who has been learning the milliner’s trade, has returned home where she will remain for some time. C. B. Steward was here one day this week. G. M. WUcox is having a special sale this week and is doing a big business. There will be several changes among the renters in the vicinity
