Farmers’ Institute.

Farmers’ Institute will be held in Rensselaer the 13th and 14th of January 1899. James Riley of Thorntown, Boon county, and I. A. McFarlin, of Plymouth, Marshal county, are the assigned speakers. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Riley at the state conference held at Purdue and can recommend him to the people of this county as being well qualified to teach farming. Mr. McFarlin is undoubedly all right or he would not have been sent to the county. The date is a lung iVci) b uii and is in&ue su that any one who has -a subject that they wish discussed can make it known in time to have it in the program. Please think about the matter. We cannot say where the Institute will be held, but probably in one of the churches. Will you take an interest in the Institute and make it a success? L. Strong, Pres.
