Shot in The Arm.

Reete Hopkins, of north of the railroad, was out at C. A. Hopkins’ 4 miles north of town, Wednesday, and sitting on a load of wood holding a shot gun across his lap. The horses started and gave the gun a jolt, and it was discharged. The load cut bis coat and vest and passed through the muscle of his right arm below the elbow. He wes brought to town and Dr. Hartsell dressed tjie injury. It is only a flesh wound, but quite a severe one, but unless bloodpoisoning should supervene, it will probably soon heal up. The wound bled quite extensively. Warren & Irwin are making farm loans at 5£ per cent interest. Term most liberal. Ne delay. No fees for examination of land or abstract.
