Hunting and corn-liusking are the order of the day. Mrs. Williams is so far upon the road of recovery that her condition is very favorable for a complete restoration. » Chas. Pullins shipped a fine load of cattle from here last Wednesday. Louis Wilcox made a “tly trip” to Chicago last Tuesday night. Mr. and Mrs. Fisher attended a turkey roast at Mr. Blancett’s last Sunday. The teachers of Union Tp. have a day off this year to visit the schools, and Mr. Bringle, of Parr and Mr. Pierson, of Brushwood spent last Friday with Robert Hopkins at Surrey. Things are looming up O. K. for boys of the Republican ranks.
