Wm. Bussell’s Sister Dead.

Our townsman, Wm. Bussell, who went to Anderson, this state, some days ago, was called from there, by a telegram, to Sullivan, 111., to attend the funeral of another, and his last surviving sister. Her name was Mrs. Matilda Eden, and her age was 70 years, 6 months and 2 days. She died October 27th at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Dr. O. C. Link, at Lincoln, Neb., herself a former well known resident of Rensselaer. The funeral was held Sunday, at Sullivan, and was very largely attended. She leaves a husband and four children. None of her brothers or sisters survive her except Mr. Bussell. He was present at the funeral and arrived home Monday night. The ladies of the W. R. C. will feed the hungry on Election day—for the benefit of the Relief fund. Meals will be served in M. P. Warner’s implement room, on Van Rensselaer street.
