M- E. Church Notes.

The special meetings at Watson school house became so interesting last Friday night that they could not be closed. After the pastor had dismissed them the people were so anxious for their continuance that Mr. Middleton consepted to resume them again to-night (Tuesday night.) They will continue till Thursday night at least. Sunday was Quarterly meeting day at the Methodist church. The service yesterday morning was devoted to the Holy Communion. Rev. Dr. Beck, the presiding elder, was present at night and preached a very able and entertaining sermon. Quarterly Conference was held at 8 o’clock this morning. Dr. Beck returned to his home at Valparaiso Monday forenoon.
