On Thursday eve, Nov. 3rd, the stage at Ellis’ Opera House will be given to an elaborate production of Faust by Mr. Porter J. White accompanied by Miss Olga Verne and Frank MacDonald, supported ' by a strong cast under the management of Richard Lambert. This axoellent company carries two sets of scenery so that they can give a complete performance on any sized stage. Too much cannot be said of this, the grandest of all plays, which from a moral and instructive standpoint is alone the most wonderful. It is the old orthodox story vividly displayed. It appeals

to the better nature of all classes and remains indelibly stamped upon the memories of all so fortunate as to witness it.
