A New' 1.0.0. F. Lodge at Shelby.
Last Saturday night, about twen-ty-five members of the I. O. O. F. Lodge here went to Shelby to institute a new lodge. They organized it, taking in 9 new members and this makes about 21 in all. Shelby is a good place for a lodge as there is a large scope of country there that has no lodge of any kind and they are very hopeful of making a flourishing one there. It took them from 7:30 P. M. until 4:15 A. M. to do the work but they were royally entertainod by the Rebeccas of Lowell. The tables were loaded with good things that every man likes. Their hospitality knew no bounds. The District Deputy, Mr. Jones of E. Chicago, was there. We returned home Sunday on the 11 o’clock, feeling well and happy. Warren & Irwin are making farm loans ut per cent interest. Term most liberal. Ne delay. No fees for examination of land or abstract. See them before borrowing or refunding present indebtedness. They will treat you right and save you money. Go to Lecklider’s for chenile goods and crockery.
