EXPLOSION IN ASHTABULA.

Caused by a Hritlsh Hhell Fired Dnrln K 1812. During the* war of 1812 n British warship tired several shots nt Ashtabula, Ohio. Some of these have been preserved as relies. The other day one of them accidentally got into a heap of scrap iron at the PhAenix iron works. It went into the furnace, and a terrific explosion followed. The furnace doors were blown to 'atoms.
