Lottie Turner visited Mrs. L. B. Hewitt Monday. Lewis Brown is visiting Lewis Burton at Momence, 111., this week. Aaron Seitz shipped a car of onions to Cincinnati Tuesday. Bud Hammond of Remington, visited John Turner Sunday and Monday. Lem Blackwell of Tenn., is visiting his sister Mrs. John Baker a few days this week. Twelve men from Indianapolis began work on the R. R. Monday. Potato digging is the order of the day. John Hefferline cf Rensselaer, visited Ben Clouse on the Sucker boat Monday. The dams that have been in the dredge ditches all summer were all blowm out Friday, The ditches are nearly all dry. Master Harold Gifford who has been sick for some time is improving. T. M. Callahan and John Fanson attended the play in Rensselaer Tuesday eve.
