AN INDIANAPOLIS SCHEME.

The Democratic proposition is to save Marion county and let the state tioket go. Iu the county named and to secure additional congressmen, with a legislative majority, all efforts of Democratic oampaign work are being centralized. A majority in Marion county would iusure one axtra congressman and define Tom Taggart’s candidacy for governor iwo years hence. It too would give nine more members of the legislature to vote for Seuator Turpie’s re-election. That is the nefarious scheme, to kill off everybody but Democratic candidates in Indianapolis. Leon O. Bailey for congress, David Turpie for the United States senate aud Thomas Taggart for governor. If it can be carried out with the eleotion of the Democratic state ticket so much the better, if not the state candidates will be unloaded. If Democrats outside of Marion county doubt the reliability of this information they have only to go to Chairman Martin for information.
