A Suit For Abandonment.

A suit for damages for abandonment, a rather unusual cause, Ims been filed for the coming October term, which begins next Monday. The plaintiff is Mrs. Sarah E. Clark, of Milroy Tp., and the defendant. Charles E. Clark. They were married May 28th, of this year, and he abandoned her August 18th. The defendant seems to be in a measure, wealthy in this worlds goods, the complaiut naming horses, cattle, hogs, buggy and other articles, amounting to about $875, as belonging to him. She asks that the defendant be compelled to pay her, for her suppor t S2OO per .year, at present, and after the birth of her expected child, SBOO. The plaintiff states that she i» now only 18 years old. She is nowliving with her father, Mr. Blakemore. Sfie does not ask for a divorce.
