Parkison-Kenton Wedding

Wednesday. Oct. sth, our townsman, Mr. Addison Parkison, took the morning train for Chicago. At Surrey Miss Alda F. Kenton boarded the same train, and together the couple went to Chicago, where they procured a license and were married at the office of the county clerk. No particulars of the wedding have been received; but the newly married couple are understood to have gone to Omaha to visit the Trans-Mississippi exposition. The groom is one of our best known and wealthiest citizens, who has been a widower for some time past. Though in. his 76th year he is still vigorous and well preserved and has before him good prospects for many of connubial happiness. His bride is the daughter of Simon Kenton, of near Surrey. She is well known as a school teacher, and a most estimable lady.
