The W. R. C. Ten Cent Social.

The Ladies Relief Corps held a very pleasant social at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Hemphill’ Friday eve, Sept 30, at which about 100 were present. Refreshments consisting of sandwiches, pickles, cake and coffee were served after which the following program was rendered. Solo —“In old Madrid” Mrs. Horton Select Reading John Alter Rec. —“New Y T ears time at Willards” Alice Bates Rec. —“Kittie’s Funeral” Ethel Spriggs Rec.—“ Remember The Maine”. Song—“On the banks of the Wabash” By All All of which were highly appreciated. * Mr. Alter’s reading was especially well received. About $8 was realized as the proceeds of the evening.
