Mrs. L. J. Beedy and son George are on the siok list. John Holliday of Rensselaer, visited in this vicinity Sunday. George Fanson visited in Medaryville Sunday. Mrs. O. Callahan and son Tom, visited P. Halligan and family Sunday. The workmen have began laying rails on the C. & W. V. railroad. The “Nubbin Ridge” base ball club crossed with the “Muck Waders” Saturday afternoon, the score stood 28 tc 42 in favor of the Muck Waders. Onion pulling is about over, but topping is only about half done. Mrs. A. L. Bowlus did shopping in Rensselaer Tuesday. Otis Beedy did business in Wheatfield Monday. Lawrence Caster is the champion onion topper, Nit! Mr. and Mrs. Bill Potts visited at Charles Casters' Sunday. Carl Houser moved to Goodland Saturday, Merril Stragn of Forseman, visited George Marrian Saturday and Sunday. Pola Baker will start his saw-mill next week. George Fanson has three jobs of threshing to do yet.
