A Wedding Reception.

A very delightful and altogether pleasing wedding reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Parkison, in Barkley Tp., Wednesday evening, in honor of the bride and groom, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Parkison who had just returned from their wedding tour. About seventy-five relatives and friends of the bride and groom were at the home to greet them with hearty wishes of long years of happiness and joy, At six o’clock a bounteous feast was spread, which the numerous guests without interruption, except by the humorous stories and jokes of Rev. Weston, interspersed with wise and fatherly advice as to martial joys and woes, disposed of in a manner satisfactory to themselves and pleasing to their hosts. The bright and happy faces of the bride and groom told only too well the joy that was theirs, and seemed to be reflected in the faces of their parents. All returned to their homes at eight o’clock much pleased with the hospitality which they had enjoyed. The bride was Miss Stella Parker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Parker. The future home of the young couple will be in Barkley.
