A Big Niagara Excursion.
The 3-1 excursion to Niagara Falls Monday was a monster, due greatly to the hustling ability of the general agent, W. L. Ross. The excursion included three trains from the west and one from from South Bend, consisting of fifteen sleepers and sixteen coaches, containing in all about 1,500 passengers. All the trains transferred to the Nickle Plate at Knox and would arrive at the Falls at 6 o’clock Tuesday evening. The number of passengers who took advantage of this low rate and excellent service this year nearly doubled that of last year. The traveling public have great faith in the 3-1 and in Mr. Ross— North Judson News.
