John Wolf and wife of Wabash are his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Arnold and other relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Victor Yeoman visited Anderson Jenkins Sunday. The people of this vicinity are shipping their cholera hogs out of the country. Mrs. Henry Steele is reported much better after quite a spell of sickness. Alf Donnelly and family of near Rensselaer visited the Rigby family Sunday. The holiness people held their meeting at the Brushwood school house Sunday morning and evening. Rev. Sherill preached at the Independence school house Sunday. Elvin, son of Henry Arnold of Wabash is visiting relatives near Blackford. A birthday surprise party was given for the young folks at Mr. and Mrs. William Meyers in honor of their daughter Miss Mamie. Quite an enjoyable time was spent by all in playing different games. Horace Baker has returned from Minnesota. Stephen Gomer lost a straw stack by Are last week, supposed to have caught from the thrashing machine.
