Our War Record.

The Republican party has fought to a successful finish two great wars. A generation ago it triumphed in the greatest conflict known in history, and in 1898 it began a war for humanity and to free a down-trodden people from four centuries of oppression. In one hundred days the Republican administration has cleaned out Spain and liberated the new world from the last vestige of her mismanagement and tyranny. From henceforth Cuba and the adjoining great islands will take their place in the great march of civilization. Four yeais ago Cleveland and the Democratic party refused to listen to Hawaii and were only prevented from re-establishing the queen upon her throne by indignant public sentiment and the bad character of thedusky Lilli. Now, under McKinley, Hawaii is one of us and ex-President Harrison’s policy has been fully vindicated.
