Doubts on the Veracity of a Spook.

The spiritualists of Anderson have just got into a lively mix-up over the veracity of a spook. In other words there has arisen a dissention over the question of “dark” spirits. The principal lecturer at the present camp meeting of the spiritists is a man whq parts his nape in the middle and has a long string of ghosts at his commatid, J. Clegg Wright, of London. A spirit that “materialised.” a few days ago, said it was in pain and misery in the spirit land. Asked why, it said it had taken its life. Wright opposed this statement, saying the spirit land was no penitentiary and that all spirits were on an equality. There was a storm of disapproval to this position led by Maj. Bitters, of the Rochester Republican, who is away up on spooks. Wright will be relieved as a lecturer. Some of the members now refuse to speak to each other.
