Another Poetical Prisoner.
The atmosphere of the county jail must be very conducive to the developement of the poetical imagination, and now even Perry Hull has broken out into poetry. His subject is his gratitude for the kindness of Mr. and Mrs. Reed and though his sentiment is all right, the method of the expression thereof is decidedly peculiar. We append his poem in full, and just as Perry wrote it: Mr. and Mrs. Reed: When We a part must flee What Ever Our Life May Bee there. Day to me will nevet Bee forgoten know the day is nye hand When We must Part With Joy or Sigh he Who leave Who’s Been Deceved Your kindness has Repreved the hart that flew in fright know arises in the fight to Win the human Rights for your kindness in those Gloomy days to you I humbly Grant the Praise for the Good that you have Done May God for you Prepair a Golden Crown
