J. Y. Wallick. whose project for a park and assembly grounds down the river has been heretofore fully explained, now reports that the indications are that the project will

have to be abandoned. The high price asked for the land desired is given as the reason of the expected failure of the enterprise. He is willing to pay a reasonable price for the land, but not much more than that.
