Charles Hurley and family of DeMotte, are visiting relatives around here. ' The hog cholera is again raging in the oouutry, Mrs. Henry Steele has been quite sick with a fever. S. B. Jenkins and family are visiting relatives and friends around here intending to start for Chicago Heights in a few days, their future home.! A 2 year old child of Mr. and Mrs. Elias Arnold had its collar bone broken about a week ago by getting thrown out of a buggy during a runaway. Mrs. William Deere and daughter of Monon, are visiting in the vicinity of Blackford. Hon. Ed. Honan and wife of Rensselaer, were seen on the streets of Blackford Sunday evening.
