Thinks Ross Can Explain It.

Vaipo. Messenger (Dem.) One W. H. Blodgett, a traveling correspondent of the Indianapolis News, in a dispatch from Fowler under date of July 25, charges Mr. John Ross, Democratic candidate for congress in this district, with

malfeasance in office. Years ago Mr. Ross was trustee of York township, Benteu county, Ind., and the melfeasance is alleged to have occurred at that time. Mr. Blodgett says suit was commenced against Mr. Ross and a judgment of $3,500 was rendered against him. Mr. Ross, no doubt, can satisfactorily dispose of Mr. Blodgett’s charge and clear himself of it.
