Coal Men Will Confer.

St. Louis, July 28. —The Illinois coal operators, including a number of companies operating mines in this state, and representatives of the Coal Miners’ union will meet inthis city Saturday morning with a view to reaching a settlement of the various strikes in Illinois mines.
