Escalloped Strawberries.

One quart of berries and a pint of cream are required. Whip the cream until dry. remove'the hulls from the berries, place a layer of the fruit in a deep glass dish, and a sprinkling of powdered sugar and cover with the whipped cream. Make another layer of berries, sugar and cream, and thus continue until all are used, heaping the cream on top. Set in. a cold place for an hour to be thoroughly chilled.— flood Housekeeping.
