EMBEZZLER CAUGHT.

Lewis Warner, Who Wrecked Two Banks in Massachussetts, In Custody at Lonlsville. Louisville, Ky., July 25.—Lewis Warner, the defaulting president and treasurer respectively of the Hampshire county national bank and the Hampshire savings bank of Northatapton, Mass., and for whose capture a reward of SI,OOO is offered, was arrested Saturday afternoon in this city. Warner embezzled upward of $640,000 three months ago and has been at large since, although he has been tracked by countless detectives. When captured he had seven dollars in his pocket and a gold ring. These were all his valuables. Warner was taken to the office of the chief of detectives and subjected to a close examination. There he broke down and confessed the whole affair.
