Death of Stella Griffin.

Miss Stella Griffin, local editor of the Remington Press, and one of the best known women in that town, died Friday morning, at the Women's hospital, Chicago. Her death followed a very severe and extensive surgical operation, for the removal of an ovarian tumor, 24 hours before, and from which operation she never rallied. She was 38 years of age. She leaves quite a number of relatives in Remington and several in Rensselaer, in which latter place she also had quite an extended circle of acquaintances. The funeral was held at Remington, Sunday.
