Pair of Old Settlers.

It is a very unusual circumstance that a man keeps a team of horses for the long period of 22 years, especially if they are grown before he gets them, and it is something that could not happen at all except in cases of men who take extra good care of their horses. An instance in point is that of A. W. Cleveland, of our city. He recently lost one of two horses which he had driven and worked together constantly for 22 years; and they were six years old when he got them. Thesingle survivor of these equine patriarchs of 28 years, is still a pretty good horse, and is driven about, every day. He is as plump and shiney as most four-year-olds albeit not quite so frisky.
