A Valuable Suggestion To Judge Thompson.

Oxford Tribune. We suggest to Jedge Thompson that he try the Bowling system of settling contempt proceedings. According to dispatches from Kansas City, a litigant called Judge Bowling a liar. Instead of imposing a fine, etc., he calmly gave a recess of 15 minutes to adjust the contempt proceedings by giving the male-factor such a thrashing that he had to be sent home in a carriage. Judge Thompson is large and muscular and an innovation of this kind will be looked upon by the people of the county as a great saver of time and money.
