Rensselaer Semi-Weekly Republican, Volume 19, Number 90, Rensselaer, Jasper County, 19 July 1898 — Hull is Bound Over. [ARTICLE]
Hull is Bound Over.
Perry Hull, was taken before Squire Burnham, Thursday afternoon, and formally bound over to the October term of the circuit court. He was held on two charges, one charge was for stealing the horses and carriage, the other for obtaining them by false pretences. The latter charge is the one most likely to send him over the road to Jeffersonville. His bail was fixed at the moderate sum of SSOO. Hull thinks some of his relations in Milroy Tp., will furnish his bail, or claims to think so, as there is no telling what he thinks by what he says. It is not likely however that his relatives will risk their good money on the honor of such a dishonorable scamp as he seems to be.
