A. Lambert is on the sick list. Mr, and Mrs. Leverpau did shopping in Medaryville Saturday. Will Camp has returned from his visit to Ohio. Lewis Brown did business in Wheatfield Monday. Simeon Davis and Emory Caster who have been sick for some time are no better. Saturday and Sunday nights were almost cold enough for frosft We don't see how it can help but freeze this month after such a hot time (?) we had in Rensselaer the Fourth. John Fanson was in Wheatfield Monday. The suit of George Beedy vs George Whited resulted in favor of Whited. Mrs. Lewis Burton and children of Momence, 111., are visiting Lewis Brown and family this week. George Fanson started to thresh rve for Mr. Callahan Tuesday. The Misses Callahan and Levereau visited Mrs. Schmidt and McNeil of of Wheatfield Sunday. Dredge No. 2 had a break down which will take it two weeks to repair.
