Dry Season Hurts Vineyards.

Oakland. Cal., July 12. —The dry season has so seriously injured the vineyards of the Livermore valley that it is estimated that the yield will only be about one-third of last year's. In some localities the crop will practically be a dead loss. If the heat is excessive between now and the harvest time the output of even the most advantageously situated vineyards will be greatly reduced.
