I . Fowler Republican* Congressman Crumpacker’s position on the Hawaiian question has been a great disappointment| to many of his warm friends in Benton county. His attempt to explain through the press has not bettered matters. If the Democrats had but nominated their LaFayette wheel horse, James Murdock, instead of Mr. Ross, there is now little doubt as to what would have happened, this fall.
