Dr. Sparling Will Lecture.

Samuel L. Sparling Ph. D., instructor in political economy in Wisconsin University, will begin a series of lectures, or talks as he calls them, at the F. W. Baptist church, at 7:45P. M. next Sunday, % He will choose subjects of present general interest,, his first being, The Decline of the power of Spain. He will continue these all at the same time and place for several weeks. There will be no charge for the lectures, nor collections, and all are freely invited to attend. The lectures will all be along lines made familiar to Mr. Sparling in his college work, but care will be taken to avoid all technical or strictly scholastic terms, in order that nil may easily be understood.
