The Wealth of Croesus.

L. V. Wandell and C. V. Jones have just returned from a trip to Mineral Point, Georgia. They brought back specimens of the mining properties there, owned by themselves, C. P. Wright, and another Mr. Jones. The mines appear to be fabulously rich, producing gold, mica, asbestos, corumdum and rubies. Also another very valuable mineral which they do not make public. They report the sale of one gold quartz mine for $30,000; the money being deposited in a bank and to be paid over when the war closes. The gold mine sold is but a small thing compared with what they have left, while they have five mica mines which money will not buy. Mr. Wright is still at the mines and Jones and Wandell are preparing to return there this week.
