His Little Mistake.

An exchange tells of a clerk who was showing a lady some parasols. He had a good command of language, and knew how to commend his goods. As he picked up a parasol from the lot on the counter and opened it, lie struck an attitude of admiration, and holding it up, said: “Now, there, isn’t it lovely ? Look at that silk.
