Mr. and Mrs. Coate of Wabash, spent Sunday with Mrs. Sample. Quite a number of people have the measels, Tom Randles’ took dinner with Sam Parkers’ Sunday. Nell McGuire of Remington, has been visiting Cecile Brown for sometime. Cora Faris and Jennie Logan of Gillam and Pearl Tillat of Francesviile, spent last Thursday with Cora Smith. Children’s exercises were held at the M. E. church last Sunday evening. Quite a large crowd attended. Mr. and Mrs. Honan of Rensselaer, were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Brown, Sunday. The young people of Barkley have organized a singing school with Miss May Burgett as teacher. They will meet on Sunday afternoon aud Wednesday evening at the M. E. church. The Christian Endeavor will have two subjects for next Sunday evening, the subject left on last Sunday evening was: ‘‘The right rise of time,” and next Sunday evening, “Honoring father and mother." Young people come.
