Norauand Custer Baker have the measles. Pearl Davis did business in Medarvville, Saturday. Adna and Otis Beedv will spend the 4th of .July with their parents Mr. and Mrs. L. .J. Beedy. Mrs. Levereau is on the sick list. Rye Harvest has begun. Chess Castor and Eva Meitzler attended graduating exercises at Rose Bud Saturday night. Miss Arlie Stevens, of Hercher, 111., is visiting her sister Mrs. Harry Gifford, •Johnnie Fanson of Dredge No. 2, is having a vacation of two weeks to repair his threshing machine. Doc. Lambert takes his place as fire man. George Beedy and George hanson did business in Rensselaer Sat. Chas Walker and Searle Steele each purchased new binders last vteek. Mr. Zook is cradling his rye this year, he says twine is too high he would rather bind by hand.
