The city commissionersapproved the assessments on the new street, on the range line, next to Benjamin & Magee’s addition, and the assessments are ordered collected. The street is named Mathcpon Avenue. r.i * * A . new side walk -bridge over Makemself, near Nelson Randle's place is needed. Refered to street committee, with power to act. Fire Chief Houau asked that a water tap be put in at the engine bouse, to wash hose; that.a rack to dry them be procured, and that a house be built for hose cart No. 2, north of the railroad. Referred to fire committee. After some discussion the firemen were allowed SIBO every six months, being 50 cents for each member, each meeting night. In case members are absent their 50 cents goes into the fund for sick and disabled members. No objections being made to Front street assessments they were confirmed. A resolution ropoaling the vehicle license ordinance was passed under suspension of the rules. A donation of $5 per month to the Citizens’ band, during the summer conoert season, was voted.
